Privacy policy.

This site is operated by Dwain Douman Digital, a sole trader business based in Perth, Western Australia. This policy explains what information is collected, why, and what happens to it. It's written to be read, not to be survived.

What I collect

Only what you type into a form on this site: your name, work email address, business name or website, indicative ad spend, and anything you write in a message field.

The site also collects standard anonymous analytics: pages viewed, approximate location by country, device type and referring source. This is aggregate data and is not used to identify individuals.

Why I collect it

  • To reply to your enquiry and, where requested, to prepare and send your free ad audit
  • To understand whether an engagement is a sensible fit before either of us spends time on it
  • To understand, in aggregate, which pages of this site are useful

What I don't do

I don't sell your details, share them with third parties for marketing, or add you to a mailing list you didn't ask to join. There is no automated nurture sequence behind these forms. If you request an audit, you get an audit and a reply from me — that's it.

Account access during an audit

Where you grant read-only access to advertising or analytics accounts for the purposes of an audit, that access is used solely to prepare your findings, is never shared, and is relinquished on request or on completion. Nothing is exported or retained beyond the notes needed to write the diagnostic.

Storage and retention

Enquiry details are held in standard business email and document tools with reputable providers. Enquiries that don't lead to an engagement are deleted within twelve months. Client records are retained as long as required for tax and business record-keeping obligations under Australian law.

Cookies

This site uses analytics cookies to measure aggregate traffic. You can block or delete these in your browser settings without affecting how the site works.

Your rights

You can ask what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Send the request through the contact form and I'll action it within a reasonable period. This policy is intended to operate consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles and, for New Zealand clients, the Privacy Act 2020.
